Neonatology

I bunked classes the entire week. And the reason is Nunu.

I could probably find a lot of things to talk about if I put my mind to it, but my brain can come up with only ingugungu koochy vava chunju njunju tutty puchy.

If you look closer, you can see a rash over her face. It's called erythema toxicum, and is not as scary as it sounds. It's very common in newborns, and should clear up in a day or two.

Odd, that she keeps her parents awake all night, and mine try to mix sedatives in my dinner so they can get some shut-eye. I'm thinking she can't wait to grow up to be like her cool Aunt AP.

It seems to be raining babies!!!
I got a brand new (and very beautiful) niece last weekend.
And I had to take the nxt flight home. She's pretty and she loves me (that's what her mum said when I had to change three shirts in a day from all the baby poop)

i forgot the camera in all the excitement.. :(

Nunu is beautiful!

Hi ap! I just had a rush of blogenaline activating my blogathetic system (don't we all). I'm fully drowning in the currents of 3rd year (UK medschool), so buoyancy is maintained by everything else including blogs.

Lots of interesting experiences of being in a malayalee medical school (tvm right?), I do wait eagerly for the next post. Things are a lot different here, from the patients to the doctors. I'd love to be a "medico" ("medics" here) for a day at a gvt college, maybe soon :D Which year are you in?

@ downright crazyyyy!!!!!!!!!!:
I know quite a few people who will be pleased to hear that. Me included. :)

@tea n. crumpet:
Thank you.
I'm imagining what would happen if they met.

@sreejith:
it does. She won't outgrow me any time soon, and I'll be the taller one for many ore years. :)

@thinking aloud:
Thanks!

@tys on ice:
I'm so gonna kill you. She started crying! You're dead, tys. Say good bye to your family, 'cause I'm coming...

@keshi:
Nunu's making fans left, right and centre. Mostly male. Definitely takes after her aunt. :)

@toothless wonder:
I know what you mean. This is the 14th baby in my (entire) family this year, and there are more on the way.
Your niece probably didn't like your shirt.
There she goes, another conquest. ;)

@ursjina:
Yes, you may. :)
And why the long face?

@manuscrypts:
yes, I always carry ice with me for such special occasions. :D

@spunky monkey:
Dear lord, no. In accordance with a new rule, you have to fill up the actual name on the birth certificate, and I assure you, it's not a 4-letter word.

@baphomet:
Done!

@di:
Hey, I don't like kids either. But I have only one brother to mar the happiness of my existence, and I'm glad he won't be getting much sleep from now on.
She said mwaa and went to sleep. :)

@abc:
I'm in 4th year- ENT, Ophthal, and Community Medicine. 'Maine Medicine kyun Kiya' is getting a new definition this year.
Interesting experiences- there are plenty, but no more than in any other place, I think. I've heard it's different outside India, but I don't know how different. Yeah, it's tvm. Hate the place, actually, but nothing beats our college. :)
